The Love-L Ranch entered into the Morgan
Horse business in 1997 with the purchase of two well-bred horses: Triton Katie
and Indiana Chinook. Their first offspring was born on October 3, 1998: a
healthy colt named Love-L Jake. We are proud to be involved with the first
(and best) American horse breed.
We expanded operations to a 91 acre ranch northeast of Dallas, TX to allow us to expand the herd.
We are members of the local Morgan Horse club (Morgan Horse Club of Texas), American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA), and other national equine organizations. We have a fully enclosed riding arena (75'x150') and a 7
stall barn with full facilities. We raise and breed Morgan Horses and we also
grow the hay to support them and for sale. We offer boarding to a limited number
of horses. We plan to continue expanding our operations.
Since 2012, Earline and I have been retraining ourselves and our horses using techniques and ideas based in the teachings of people like Tom Dorrence, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, Brent Graef, and many others. We concentrate on truly being one with the horse and the horse being one with us. The results have been amazing as you will see in the various updated horse pages.
Take a look at why we believe the Morgan represents the finest all-around equine breed in the world.
