Indiana Chinook was the foundation stallion for the Love-L Ranch. He was
foaled on March 9, 1995 at Indiana Ranch (Joan Zeleny in Petaluma, CA). He
was a friendly, easy-to-work-with stallion. He was a powerful animal
with boundless energy. He was quick to learn and passed these traits on to
his offspring. He had outstanding coat and conformation. He exemplified the Western Working bloodlines of his pedigree.
Chinook spent most of his life being Pete's main riding and working horse. Pete had Chinook in local parades
year around as well as riding in most areas near and on the ranch. Chinook's soft yet determined temperament made him
the perfect horse to display what a Morgan really is to the general public. He would seek out small children to let them
pet his nose and would always be quiet when they were around. Yet Pete could take him into a field with cattle and he was ready
to go!
