Sophie has become Pete's girl. When Pete started riding her, she had only been ridden a handful of times so she has really become Pete's "project horse" on his new horsemanship journey. And she has responded! She is consistently the softest and most responsive of all of our horses, even as she nears the end of term for her first foal (bred in 2016 to Indiana Chinook). We believe she will be a great mother and we look forward to taking her foal from birth through starting under saddle using the thoughts we have learned from our horsemanship mentors, living and past.
